Yarraville townhouse transformation

Maximising space with personal touches

This new build townhouse in Melbourne’s inner west needed smart design solutions for clients downsizing from a larger home. I maximised the open-plan living space by creating distinct zones with a modular L-shaped sofa and movable side tables for flexibility.

Custom artwork by Western Australian artist Isabelle de Kleine adds a personal touch, while a custom entertainment unit and feature lighting bring functionality and atmosphere to the space.

The study/record room was designed to reflect the clients' love for music, with built-in storage for their record collection and a leather swivel chair for comfort. In the master bedroom, bold blues and timber accents, inspired by This Magic Moment by Sammy Slabbinck, create a striking yet cosy retreat.

Finishing touches throughout the home, including limited-edition prints and a stylish console in the entryway, tie the design together.
